Terms of Service
Last updated: 6/3/2026
1. Acceptance
By using EmbedLinq (the "Service") you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
2. The free service
EmbedLinq lets you build a quiz, scale or survey and embed it on a website. The free plan is provided at no cost and without an account. Limits (such as the number of questions per quiz) are shown in the builder and may change over time.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use EmbedLinq to:
- Send spam or abusive content to respondents.
- Collect personal data unlawfully or without proper notice/consent.
- Impersonate another person or organisation.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or overload the Service.
- Embed quizzes on sites with illegal content.
We may remove quizzes or block access if we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.
4. Your content
You own the questions you create and the responses you receive by email. You're responsible for the legality of the content you publish through EmbedLinq and for complying with privacy law (including GDPR/UK GDPR) when collecting respondent data.
5. Service availability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't guarantee that it will always be uptime, error-free, or that emails will always be delivered. Email delivery depends on third-party providers (e.g. Resend) and the recipient's mail server.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EmbedLinq is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service — including lost revenue, lost responses, or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (which is zero on the free plan).
7. Termination
You can stop using EmbedLinq at any time. We can suspend or remove access if these Terms are breached. Abandoned drafts are automatically deleted after 24 hours.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when they last changed. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the new Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless local consumer protection law in your country says otherwise.
10. Contact
