What we collect

When you build a free quiz on EmbedLinq we store the quiz title, description, brand colour, optional logo URL, the email address you provide for receiving responses, and the questions you create. We do not require an account.

How responses are handled

On the free plan, responses to your quiz are not stored on our servers. They are delivered straight to your email through our email provider, Resend, which handles the message delivery on our behalf.

Respondents may optionally provide their email address so that you can reply to them. If provided, that email is included in the message we forward to you and is handled by Resend in line with their own data retention policies.

Cookies & analytics

The embedded quiz pages themselves do not set cookies. On our marketing pages we use a simple cookie notice to let you know advertising partners may set cookies (see below).

Advertising partners

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and other sites on the internet.

Google uses the DART cookie to serve ads across its partner network. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

You can also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting aboutads.info (US) or Your Online Choices (EU). For more on how Google handles ad data, see Google's advertising policies.

Waitlist

If you join the Pro waitlist, we store your name and email so we can contact you when Pro launches. You can ask us to remove your details at any time.
